Official launch of Priory House sees 10% of apartments snapped up already

Priory House, Elevate Property Group’s stunning reimagining of the former Forensic Science building in Southside, Birmingham, is already proving a hit with buyers.

Guests at the official launch in Priory House’s show apartment heard that already eight of the 79 loft-style apartments had been reserved off-plan.

Elevate hosted the launch with selling agents Savills to update guests on progress on the company’s latest Birmingham project.

The conversion of the iconic building is providing a range of properties with prices from £180,000 for a one-bedroom apartment to £625,000 for the penthouse.

David Hofton, Elevate sales and marketing director, said: “Elevate is repurposing the building in the style and aesthetic of its very successful Concord House development on Holloway Head, which featured Birmingham’s first £1 million apartment.”

The 77,000 sq ft, seven-storey building, which was constructed in the 1950s, was home to the Forensic Science Service for more than 40 years before it closed in 2011. Birmingham architects D5 have developed an imaginative scheme and contractors Bode Contracting Ltd are set to deliver this exciting new development in the summer of 2022.

As well as Priory House, Elevate will also be delivering in Birmingham 57 new homes at Heaton House in Camden Street and 85 new apartments at Price Street.

Next year will also see work starting on 258 apartments at Liversage Street Derby, 60 new apartments on the next phase of the popular Princes Gate development in Solihull, and the second phase of the Trent Bridge Quays development in Nottingham will also provide 58 new homes, with construction commencing on 18 new homes at Edith Walk, Malvern.

Elevate Property Group has built a reputation for quality medium-rise residential developments in the past decade and is acquisitive, constantly looking for more redevelopment opportunities.

In its first ten years, Elevate has constructed over 1,000 homes and in 2022 alone will be starting work or completing a further 536 properties.
