Sheldon Court now over 50% sold as first time buyers are urged not to miss out
Oct 2020
More than 50% of the 64 apartments at Sheldon Court have sold within weeks of the public launch of the smart new development just off the A45 Coventry Road, just 100 metres from the Solihull boundary.
The specification and quality of fixtures and fittings is surprising many potential buyers viewing the recently opened show apartment at Sheldon Court, according to David Hofton, sales and marketing director at Elevate Property Group.
“We have one-bedroom apartments starting at £130,000 but we haven’t cut any corners in what we are offering,” he said.
The “standard” specification includes contemporary German kitchens with integrated appliances and the shower rooms that come with Porcelanosa tiling and excellent fixtures and fittings, including carpeting and flooring throughout.
Sheldon Court will have 54 one-bedroom apartments, plus 6 two-bedroom apartments and 4 studio apartments. The apartments will also have 60 parking spaces, six of which will provide electric charging points for hybrid and electric vehicles.
David Hofton said: “ With no Stamp Duty to pay and Help to Buy available, this has created the perfect conditions for those seeking to buy their first home.
“With interest rates at historically low levels, first-time buyers will never get a better chance to acquire their first home.”
Which means first-time buyers could potentially be paying significantly less each month on a mortgage for a home they own, than the equivalent rent.
Elevate Property Group is offering potential first-time buyers access to advice on obtaining their mortgage, conveyancing, how to apply for Help to Buy and on the timescales involved to ensure they are in a position to proceed and don’t miss out.
David Hofton said: “Completion is scheduled for the New Year and the first new owners could be in their new homes in time for Valentine’s Day!”
