Elevate launches Queensway House show apartment as development nears completion

Feb 2017

The team that brought you Birmingham’s most expensive apartment has unveiled its latest project – Queensway House.

Elevate Property Group is unveiling its latest creation when the show apartment takes its public bow on Thursday 10 November.

The developers of Concord House, where the top penthouse apartment sold for almost £1.8 million are bringing more luxury apartments to the city centre.

Queensway House is located at 57 Livery Street and sits between St Paul’s Square and the city’s business district, conveniently placed for all that the Jewellery Quarter has to offer and just 50 yards from the rear entrance to Snow Hill Station.

The project was a redundant office building and each floor has now been converted to a triple aspect apartment with views to the city’s central business district and Jewellery quarter.

Elevate managing director Steve Dodd said: “When we acquired Queensway House we knew we would develop something special. This development offers spacious apartments and luxury interiors rarely seen elsewhere in the city.

“By fusing an industrial aesthetic with the unique history of the building, our designers have crafted a living experience quite unlike any other.”

Creative director Chris Brooke has developed the vintage industrial style first seen from Elevate Property Group in the Concord House development only now with a few new twists. Potential buyers will be able to arrange viewings by appointment only with agents Knight Frank from Thursday 10 November.

The apartments are particularly generous with sizes from 1,535 sq ft plus terraces to a 2,236 sq ft duplex all with bespoke German kitchens complete with Siemens appliances, Kahrs engineering floors, Duravit sanitary fittings and Hansgrohe brassware are among some of the key components.

The area where Queensway House is located has been a hive of activity in recent weeks. As well as works on one of Elevate’s three current projects under construction in the city centre, there are also new leisure offerings soon to open including a Jazz café bar opposite and the Indian Brewery with its very own premium Birmingham Lager a stone’s throw away.

Just around the corner is St Paul’s Square with its wide range of bars and restaurants including the recently opened and hugely successful St Pauls House Hotel, award-winning Lasan Restaurant and Bar, the legendary Henry Wongs and The Jam House.

Stuart Eustace of agents Knight Frank said: “This is another unique project from Elevate Property Group, taking an existing city office building and creating something that is entirely bespoke with a high specification”

“With some sales already agreed and a shortage of quality apartments in the city the launch of the show apartment will further boost interest in a fascinating project in a corner of Birmingham that is really coming to life.”

“Elevate Property Group has a real eye for taking rundown buildings and creating some of the most exciting and unique living spaces the city has seen.”

“As you would expect the team have built on the success of Concord House and continue to push the envelope when it comes to design and style.

“Queensway House offers prospective purchasers the chance to own on the doorstep of an area of the city ear marked to replicate Canary Wharf as a hub for the Financial Services Sector.”

Prices range from £525,000 to £650,000 and will be completed and ready for occupation in December.
