Elevate reports post-election sales flurry as Princes Gate goes 80% sold

Elevate Property Group is reporting strong demand for its flagship development in Solihull with over 80% of the luxury apartments already sold.

Princes Gate, the former HMRC offices in Homer Road, has been converted into Consort House, the first phase of 30 apartments which is now sold out and occupied, and the second phase, 70 apartments in Royal House, which is now completed, and has only 20 apartments remaining.

David Hofton, sales and marketing director of Elevate Property Group, said the demand for the first two phases had been strong in any event, but they had seen a distinct upturn in the New Year.

“The election result and the resolving of Brexit uncertainty seems to have unlocked pent-up demand for quality luxury accommodation and we are seeing the results at Princes Gate,” he said.

“The fact that the apartments are completed and ready has made them a magnet for those looking to move in immediately.”

The development has proved particularly popular with young first time buyers assisted by Help to Buy.

And for downsizers, Elevate Property Group is offering an Assisted Move Package.

David Hofton explained: “Some of our older buyers may not have moved for many years, but now want to move into an apartment that is both new and more manageable and one that they can just ‘lock up and leave’ if they want to travel.

“Our Assisted Move Package takes all the stress out of the decision and includes help selling an existing property, providing a solicitor and a removals service on completion.

“It couldn’t be simpler and many find that can be the deciding factor in whether to remain in a large house that they no longer really need, or move into a brand new luxury apartment with all the savings in bills and maintenance that this brings.”

He added that the location, with just a nine minute train journey into Birmingham, was attracting young professionals working in the city, while the proximity to Birmingham Airport was appealing to the “lock up and leave” generation with properties abroad.

“With a new Waitrose just 200 metres from the development, Solihull Railway Station 250 metres away and Touchwood Shopping Centre, with John Lewis and a huge selection of shops and restaurants, within just a short stroll, there really is everything you need within walking distance,” he said.
